Spice Mixed Persian Bands pack is included on the Persian & Egyptian Collections section of the Rainbow Loom bands products. This band is a dual-layer band, made up of two types of bands: jelly and opaque in one. The outer layer is a jelly type with embedded tiny gold which makes it shimmer, and the inside layer is made up of opaque quality bands.
One pack of Spice Mixed Persian contains 4 gorgeous colors: Teal green, Ocean blue, Purple, and Black. Each of these colors can be bought in a single pack. As I told in my previous reviews on mixed packs, if you would just like to try them, this is the best way you can get a hold of each one of those colors.
A Spice mixed persian bands pack includes 300+ of non-latex dual-layer rubber bands (which means it doesn’t contain toxins) & a bag of 12 transparent large C-clips. Large c-clips has embossed Rainbow Loom logo on each piece.
Some characteristic of the Spice Mixed Persian bands are the following:
- Very long-lasting
- More stretchy than other silicone bands but less stretchy than our jelly bands
They are thicker than the usual opaque bands. I personally love how thick these bands are, and the glittery gold on the outer layer is very elegant and super nice to look at.
As for the stretch test, these bands stretches up to 4 pins/pegs on the rainbow loom. Stretching it further is still possible but you might break it.
It is always nice to do a stretch test to know if the bands will turn back to its original form and size. As for my experiment, the bands that are stretch barely gets bigger after taking it out on the loom. Makes it more appealing to me, cause I can surely re-use the bands if ever I had place them wrongly on the loom or just have to re-use it to make another kind of design.
Spice Mixed Persian Bands is a good choice if you want thick, stable elasticity, elegance and glittery look on your bracelets and other stuffs you want to make. I suggests loomers to include these bands on their list when they plan to shop for bands. These are really nice bands stretchy and easy to work with since its a silicone. They are also do not tend to curl and get deformed unlike opaque and jelly bands. The only thing that I was hoping for is that Rainbow Loom should have made this pack in 600 counts so that we can have more bands to experiment with.
